DrLappyFix Warranty Terms

Effective date: July 5, 2026. This page is intentionally honest: coverage should match the actual work performed, not fake marketing promises.

How coverage is decided

Warranty terms are communicated before the customer approves paid repair work. Standard laptop repairs are covered for 6 months. Custom PC builds are covered for 2 years on build workmanship, with component support documented clearly at delivery.

What is usually covered

  • Failure of the specific repaired issue within the stated warranty window.
  • Failure of a supplied replacement part within the stated warranty window, subject to the part category and supplier policy.
  • Workmanship issues directly linked to the original approved repair.

What is usually not covered

  • New faults unrelated to the original repair.
  • Physical damage, liquid damage, power surges, drops, misuse, or unauthorized third-party repair after service.
  • Software issues caused by later user actions, malware, or unsupported updates, unless specifically covered in writing.

Claim process

Customers should contact DrLappyFix promptly with the original service details and a clear description of the issue. Warranty review may require reinspection of the device before confirming the next step.

Note: Warranty coverage applies to the original approved work. New faults, misuse, liquid damage, physical damage, and unauthorized third-party repair are not covered.
